Meet Dr. John Celona

I live and breathe for my patients; dentistry is not just a profession, but a way of life. My mission each day is to create the most memorable experience for each child, striving to make their journey with me the best they've ever had.

As a pediatric dentist, I've dedicated myself to making a difference in children's lives. Overcoming their fears of the unknown and alleviating anxieties is my purpose. Every child and family I treat becomes a part of my own extended family. I love turning every visit into a celebration, marking all holidays with joy right here in my office, as if we're hosting a party.

Education and Experience

My journey began at St. Johns University, where I earned a BS in Biology. Then, I pursued my DMD degree at Fairleigh S. Dickenson JR. College of Dental Medicine. My quest for knowledge led me to The New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital Center, where I completed my General Practice Residency. I further specialized at The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, becoming the Chief Resident in Dental and Oral Surgery as a Resident in Pediatric Dentistry.

I am devoted to advancing my education, completing annual CE credits in pediatric dentistry and anesthesia. This ensures I provide the ultimate care, both at my practice and when teaching residents at NYU Brooklyn Langone.

Outside the Office

I'm a Brooklynite through and through, living where I grew up. My incredible daughters, Angelica and Amanda, have graduated college in nursing, and they'll soon be joining my practice, specializing in facial aesthetics.

My life is a tapestry woven with patient care, education, family, and community involvement. Beyond dentistry, I savor dining at trendy restaurants and cherishing moments with my daughters and dear friends. In my community, I've served as a board member at Visitation Academy, an all-girls Catholic school, and organized numerous fundraisers.
